Dhurandhar Box Office: Ranveer Singh-Starrer Outnumbers RRR and KGF 2 To Become 4th Highest-Grossing Indian Film Worldwide
Mumbai, January 10 - Director Aditya Dhar's spy action thriller Dhurandhar continues its historic box office run, rewriting the all-time Indian cinema record books globally. The movie has been shattering records after records, and the latest films to become its victim are SS Rajamouli's RRR and Prashanth Neel's KGF: Chapter 2. The Ranveer Singh-fronted blockbuster has become the 4th highest-grossing Indian film of all-time at the worldwide box office, after outgrossing RRR (1230 crore) and KGF: Chapter 2 (1215 crores) over the last couple of days. In 36 days so far, Dhuradhar has grossed around 1240 crores worldwide, including over 950 crores gross in India alone. (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}) The film's success is particularly significant as it marks a rare instance of a single-language Indian film surpassing massive multi-language and pan-India spectacles in worldwide earnings. Its long theatrical legs, repeat audience turnout, and strong word-of-mouth are the reasons for its unprecedented performance weeks after release. With this milestone, Dhurandhar now finds itself just behind the top three highest-grossing Indian films of all time. Even though it is still performing very well, Dhurandhar will finish its box office run between 1300-1350 crores gross at the 4th highest-grossing Indian title, behind Pushpa 2's 1740+ crores worldwide cume.
