Mumbai, September 18 - In 2023, Yami Gautam and Sunny Kaushal teamed up for Maddock Films' heist thriller Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga. The movie was directly premiered on Netflix, and went on to become one of the most-watched Indian films on the streamer. Directed by Ajay Singh, Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga received praise for being a one-of-a-kind heist thriller, and struck a chord with the audiences. Now, according to the report by Pinkvilla, the sequel to CNKB is in development at Maddock with Sunny Kaushal and Yami Gautam returning to lead once again. The report says that the script for Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga 2 is already locked, and the makers are expected to take it on floors by the end of this year. The bigger picture is that the makers are aiming to make it s theatrical film, unlike the first movie, which was made as a streaming product. "While Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga revolved around a heist in the air, the sequel has even higher stakes as the robbery takes place in the middle of an ocean. The entire plot of Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga 2 is set on a cruise, where all the madness unfolds. Mumbai, August 29 - Director Om Raut has finally opened up on Adipurush, starring Pan India superstar Prabhas. It was one of the most-hyped Indian movies in recent times but ended up as a major disappointment on every front.## The movie got trolled for the cringe characterization of the figures of the epic Ramayana and was largely a box office misfire despite the huge initial collections that were pulled through the factor of Ramayana and Prabhas' mega-stardom.## Made on a massive budget of 500 crores, Adipurush grossed around 400 crores at the worldwide box office and was termed a big flop, especially in the Telugu version. Mumbai, November 22 - Director Om Raut, after the huge blockbuster success of "Tanhaji: The Unsung Hero" in 2020, came up with the even bigger or perhaps the biggest film of his career Adipurush. The film starred superstar Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh, among others in key roles.## Produced by T-Series and Retrophiles, "Adipurush" was director Raut's modern take on the epic "Ramayana" and he announced the film with huge enthusiasm in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the filmmaker had no idea back then that it was going to be the most horrible experience of his career and that he shouldn't have modernized the epic. ## The movie had already become the centre of controversy when the first teaser was dropped last year. The teaser was slammed for the poor VFX and the wrong depiction of the characters of Ramayana. This forced the makers to postpone the release from January 2023 to June, however, these efforts didn't prove enough as the characterization and the basic plot of the film, which invited controversy, couldn't have been replaced. ## "Adipurush" was released in theatres on June 16, and despite the huge worldwide opening of over 100 crores, the movie couldn't survive for long at the box office after receiving poor critics and audience reception. Mumbai, July 8 - The dialogue writer of the "Adipurush" film, Manoj Muntashir Shukla has been facing backlash for the dialogue of the movie, which the audiences found to be crass. Manoj had tried to clarify the thought process behind penning the dialogues of the film on many occasions, and now, after three weeks after the film's release, he has offered an unconditional apology for the same. ## On July 8, Manoj Muntashir Shukla took to Twitter and accepted that people's sentiments have been hurt by "Adipurush" and that he extends his unconditional apology. Box Office: Adipurush Emerges Biggest Bollywood Opener of All-Time

Mumbai, June 17 - Pan India superstar Prabhas's magnum opus Adipurush, directed by Om Raut, was in the full flow of its opening day at the domestic as well as overseas box office.## "Adipurush", which is technically a Bollywood production, becomes the first Bollywood movie of all time to gross over 100 crores at the domestic box office in all versions. It has beaten the opening day record of Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" (68 crores) which was released in January this year. ## The movie grossed a solid approx. 102.50 crores at the domestic box office. The Telugu version led the charge with approx. 56.50 crores gross, followed by the Hindi version which accounted for approx. 44 crores gross collection. The versions remained low on the opening day and collected approx. 2 crores gross. The Hindi net collection of 37.25 crores of "Adipurush" is the 9th highest of all-time, ahead of "Sultan" and behind "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo".## At the overseas box office, "Adipurush" scored around 25 crores, pushing the total worldwide collection of the movie to 126 crores, which is the highest for Bollywood and 5th highest for an Indian movie after "RRR", "Baahubali 2", "KGF 2" and "Saaho". "Pathaan" grossed 105 crores worldwide on the opening day. ## Meanwhile, SS Rajamouli's mega-blockbuster "RRR", which was released last year, remains the biggest Indian opener of all time with 223 crores gross. It is also the biggest opener domestically with 156 crores gross. The second-best worldwide opener is again SSR's "Baahubali 2" which starred Prabhas in the lead.
