Hyderabad, September 1 - Actor and director Rishab Shetty's highly-anticipated folk action drama prequel Kantara: Chapter 1 is looking at the record theatrical business in the Telugu states, in which the first film, Kantara, was a big success. The expectations from Kanatara Chapter 1 are sky high, since the original film became a massive blockbuster. Despite being the Kannada origin title, the trade is highly optimistic about the upcoming film's success in North India and Telugu states, where the stakes are higher than before. As the film is getting nearer to its release date, the makers have started negotiating the business for the film, and for the Telugu states (Andhra Pradesh and Telangana), the film is targeting a staggering over 100 crore pre-release theatrical business. Sikandar Director AR Murugadoss Responds To Why Tamil Cinema Is Not Able To Produce 1000 Crore Films

Chennai, August 18 - Tamil director AR Murugadoss, who last directed superstar Salman Khan's Sikandar, has been in the news for the past few weeks for various reasons. The director caught everyone's attention recently when he blamed the language barrier for the box office failure of Sikandar, even though he had delivered a couple of big blockbusters in Hindi. ## A few weeks after his statement regarding Sikandar's failure went viral, the Ghajini director gave another statement, which is making a lot of noise on social media. During the promotion of his upcoming film Madharaasi, starring Sivakarthikeyan, Murugadoss explained why Tamil films are not earning 1000 crores worldwide, while other top industries do. ## Speaking to Valaipechu Voice, the director observed that Tamil filmmakers approach cinema differently from their counterparts in other industries. NTR-Neel Film's First Look Title Date Revealed

Hyderabad, February 25 - One of the biggest Telugu-origin Pan India movies in the making in the combination of superstar Jr. NTR and director Prashanth Neel recently started filming in Hyderabad. Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts are producing it on a massive budget.## According to the latest reports by Gulte.com, the team of NTRNeel Film will head to Kolkata for a brief schedule before starting the next big schedule outside India. Jr. NTR is expected is join the filming in the international schedule. ## The report also revealed that the first look title of the film is expected to be out on May 20. It is, however, reported that the film is titled Dragon with an official announcement pending. The film is reportedly a period action drama, set in the 1960s in Calcutta.## Meanwhile, Neel filmed riot sequences on the streets in the first schedule recently, giving a glimpse of what can be expected from this highly-anticipated blockbuster.
