Originally released in 2019, the beloved Marvel epic will be re-released in theatres on September 25, 2026. The studio, however, didn't confirm whether it will be a worldwide or just a domestic (North America) re-launch, or how long the window will be. Directed by the Russo Brothers, who are also directing Doomsday, Endgame was a global phenomenon back in 2019. It stormed the box office everywhere it got released and eventually became the highest-grossing movie ever with $2.79 billion for some time before James Cameron's Avatar ($2.92 billion) reclaimed its spot. 'Avengers: Doomsday' And 'Avengers: Secret Wars' Release Dates Postponed

Los Angeles, May 23 - The new Avengers movies will take more than the earlier scheduled time as Disney has postponed the release dates of Marvel Studios' Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret War by nearly 7 months each. ## Doomsday, which was supposed to be released on May 1st, 2026, will now debut in worldwide theatres on December 18, 2026. On the other hand, Secret Wars has been pushed back to December 17, 2027, from its originally planned May 7, 2027, launch. ## Notably, the new release calendar saw Disney remove several unannounced Marvel titles from its calendar. The date of Feb. 13, 2026, previously slotted for an Untitled Marvel project, has been removed from the schedule. Los Angeles, March 27 - The Avengers have assembled once again, 6 years after Avengers Endgame emerged as one of the biggest grossers in history, as the filming of Marvel Studios' highly-anticipated Avengers: Doomsday has begun. ## On Wednesday, Marvel Studios surprised everyone when it announced the cast of the upcoming film during a nearly five-and-a-half-hour live stream. The cast of Doomsday has some surprising names, consisting of a mix of Marvel Cinematic Universe mainstays as well as actors from 20th Century Fox's now-defunct X-Men universe and upcoming stars of Fantastic Four: First Steps. ## The studio announced 26 actors who would feature in the upcoming film, and among the returning cast members from Endgame are Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson, Danny Ramirez as Joaquin Torres, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Paul Rudd as Scott Lang/Ant-Man, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Letitia Wright as Shuri, and Winston Duke as M'Baku. It is to be noted that the director duo is also producing the upcoming Avengers movies under their banner AGBO.## Downey Jr. has been by far the biggest paid member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Variety reports that the actor has earned between $500 million and $600 million for playing Iron Man.
