Salman Khan To Skip Eid Holiday Release For 'Battle of Galwan'? Film's Possible Release Date Revealed

Mumbai, July 16 - After getting a setback with Sikandar, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has now teamed up with director Apoorva Lakhia for a war action drama Battle of Galwan. The movie is set against the backdrop of the Galwan Valley clash in 2020 between Indian and Chinese troops. ## The makers recently announced the film with the first look poster, which was appreciated by all, and piqued the curiosity for the movie. The movie is set to go on floors in August this year, and ahead of it, the possible release date plans have been revealed. ## Salman Khan's Battle of Galwan To Skip Eid 2026 Release? ## According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the much-awaited film might skip releasing during the Eid weekend in 2026. This particular holiday period has seen Salman's many films in the past, but the same may not be the case with his upcoming movie. ## "The makers are not looking at releasing the film on Eid. This is because three films are already scheduled for release on March 19, 2026 "“ Yash-starer Toxic, the comic caper Dhamaal 4 and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's intense romantic drama Love & War, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal", says the report. ## The report further stated that with Eid release almost ruled out, the makers are considering to the bring the film to the big screen in either January or June 2026. It is said that the makers are planning to wrap the shoot in 55-60 days, so there is a possibility of a January 2026 release.
