Chennai, September 29 – Superstar Rajinikanth's mass entertainer Coolie has wrapped up its theatrical run at the global box office with mixed results. Despite a record opening and strong initial buzz, the film couldn't sustain the same momentum in the following weeks, leading to an average overall performance. Mumbai, September 26 - Power star Pawan Kalyan has unleashed a box office storm with his gangster action drama They Call Him OG. The film has opened to record-breaking numbers domestically, registering the biggest opening of 2025, surpassing superstar Rajinikanth's Coolie, which belongs to a similar action-packed genre. The news about the duo coming together after many decades has been making noise for the last few weeks, especially since they have officially confirmed the mega collab. While the legendary duo have officially confirmed that they are coming together, the uncertainty over the director is still looming large. Chennai, September 4 - Superstar Rajinikanth’s much-awaited gangster action drama Coolie is set to make its digital debut earlier than anticipated following its underwhelming box office performance. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film hit theatres on August 14, ahead of the Independence Day holiday. On Thursday (September 4), the makers officially confirmed the post-theatrical digital release. Coolie will begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video from September 11, just four weeks after its theatrical release, in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
