Award-Winning Malayalam Director Mahesh Narayanan To Make Hindi Film Debut With Phantom Hospital
Mumbai, August 31, 2021: Award-winning Malayalam filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan, known for movies like MÄlik, C U Soon, Take Off, Nayattu, among others, is all set to make his Hindi film debut as a director with the movie titled "Phantom Hospital". ##
Based on an unprecedented investigation into the Indian healthcare system, "Phantom Hospital" will be produced by Priti Shahani, the acclaimed Bollywood producer behind pathbreaking movies such as Talvar, Raazi, and Badhaai Ho in association with the award-winning investigative journalist and author, Josy Joseph's Confluence Media. ##
"Phantom Hospital" story and screenplay is written by Akash Mohimen and Mahesh Narayanan. The thriller film also marks the debut of Priti Shahani's new production house, Tusk Tale Films, in the market. Shahani aims to produce great stories, especially those rooted in reality and rigorous investigation under his new production house. ##
Speaking about the "Phantom Hospital", Priti Shahani said in a statement, "All of us have been victims of it unknowingly, and through this film, we hope to wake up the audience to a new reality". ##
