Of course, the drop was expected since it had a Christmas release, but the opening itself was not-so-good with 7-8 crores net. Starring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Pandey, TMMTMTTM failed to generate pre-release buzz, which was clearly visible in pre-sales (despite the sales being better than many other films, and you know the reason). The makers were still hopeful that the film's biz would pick up on Christmas Day, which didn't happen due to poor reviews and word of mouth.
