Mumbai, June 30 - Superstar Akshay Kumar's comedy-thriller Housefull 5 is losing momentum at the domestic box office amid growing competition, as the film collected approximately 1.50 crore net collection in its fourth weekend.## Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the fifth instalment in the popular franchise has amassed around 182 crore net (217 crore gross) in India over 24 days. Despite the slowdown, the film remains the second-highest-grossing Bollywood release of 2025, trailing only Vicky Kaushal's "Chhaava". ## Globally, Housefull 5 has earned an estimated 287 crore gross, including about ₹70 crore from overseas markets. But things are not as smooth as they seemed, as the filming of this much-awaited biggie is on hold since August 2024. ## There have been reports that the shoot of Welcome 3 would resume soon, but the latest development suggests that the situation is grim around the movie, which has landed in big trouble owing to financial conflicts, according to Pinkvilla. ## It is known to all that the film was last shot in August 2025, and nearly 70% of the shoot was completed. The report says that over the last 6 months, around 2-3 shooting schedules were cancelled, and a new schedule, slated to take place in June, has also been cancelled. ## The actors of the movie are confused about the things going on in the movie.
