Mumbai, June 3 - The much-awaited comedy entertainer Housefull 5, starring superstar Akshay Kumar, is all set to hit the big screen on June 6, and it is going to be the first of its kind film for its genre as well as for Akshay. ## Housefull 5 is the fifth instalment of the blockbuster franchise, and according to the reports, it is set to be the widest release for the franchise. It is said that the film will be released on over 5000 screens across the country. Overseas, it will release on over 2000 screens. This makes it the widest release for Akshay as well as for the comedy genre in India. ## It is to be noted that Housefull 5 will clash with Kamal Haasan's Thug Life (June 5), and despite that, the former has managed to lock a huge screen count nationwide. If the movie manages to get positive word of mouth, then it has all the ingredients to become the highest-grossing film of the franchise. ## Apart from getting the huge release, Housefull 5 is also the costliest film of the series. It is revealed that the film's total budget is 225 crores (without print and advertisement costs), which also makes it the costliest Indian comedy film. ## Earlier, there were reports and the makers also revealed that Housefull 5 was to be made in a budget of 350 crores, however, the film reportedly went through casting changes, which reduced the cost significantly. 'Housefull 5' Advance Booking Update

Mumbai, May 29 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar-fronted Housefull 5 is set to hit the big screen on June 6, and the trade is bullish on this comedy entertainer, directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. ## The Bollywood box office has been in good shape for the last couple of months, and the trade is expecting Housefull 5 to extend this good run. Before the movie hits the big screen, all eyes will be on how the advance booking of it goes. ## According to the latest reports, the makers are set to open advance booking of the film by Saturday evening or Sunday morning (May 31/June 1).
