Directed by Sameer Vidwans, TMMTMTTM was originally scheduled to release in February 2026, before the makers moved the release date up twice, but the move didn't work due to poor reviews and competition with Dhurandhar and Avatar: Fire and Ash, which have dominated the month so far. Starring Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Pandey, TMMTMTTM failed to generate pre-release buzz, which was clearly visible in pre-sales (despite the sales being better than many other films, and you know the reason). The makers were still hopeful that the film's biz would pick up on Christmas Day, which didn't happen due to poor reviews and word of mouth.
