This is a historical booking for a movie featuring unknown faces. ## As of 12 PM, the film has sold around 90,000 tickets in PVR+INOX and around 30,000 tickets in Cinepolis for the first day. Housefull 5 had sold approximately 95,000 tickets, while Raid 2 sold 93,000 tickets at national chains for the first day. ## The movie is now on track to beat Salman Khan's Sikandar, which sold around 1,43,000 tickets. Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava is currently the biggest pre-sales scorer for Bollywood in 2025, with around 2,25,000 tickets in PIC, and Saiyaara will be close to it by the end of the day, if not able to surpass the figure. ## Saiyaara Opening Day Box Office Expecatations ## The Hindi film industry is bracing up for an unexpected big opening, and no one has any answer as to why the movie has suddenly become the hot topic in the trade. Mumbai, May 19 - Bollywood star Ajay Devgn-fronted Raid 2 has topped 200 crores gross collection at the worldwide box office, becoming only the second Hindi movie of the year to achieve the feat after Vicky Kaushal-fronted Chhaava. ## Directed by Rajkumar Gupta, the crime drama thriller has grossed approximately 201.50 crores worldwide, including around 177.50 crores in India and 24 crores overseas in 18 days. The film has performed better than expected to emerge as a clean box office hit. ## Raid 2 is the 8th movie of Ajay Devgn to top 200 crores globally, and the first since Singham Again in November 2024. It had already surpassed the lifetime worldwide gross collection of the first movie, Raid, which minted approximately 154 crores gross collection. Overall, Raid 2 is the 6th Indian movie of 2025 to go past 200 crore worldwide. ## Produced by T-Series and Panorama Studios, Raid 2 is a sequel to Raid (2018).
