Michael B Jordan Named Sexiest Man Alive 2020 By People Magazine

Hollywood actor-producer, Michael B Jordan has been named the Sexiest Man Alive by People magazine for the year 2020.



The Creed actor graces the cover of the latest issue of the magazine. On getting the honour, he told the publication, "It's a cool feeling. You know, everybody always made that joke, like, 'Mike, this is the one thing you–™re probably not going to get.–™ But it–™s a good club to be a part of".



"I think I am going to get the most grief from everybody. From my agents to my best friends, any of my guy friends. Everybody in the group chats. The group chat is going to go crazy when this comes out. I mean, the jokes aren't going to stop, so it's going to be pretty... It's going to be entertaining, trust me", Jordan said in a video posted on his official Twitter handle.



He was also recently included in Time Magazine's list of 100 Most Influential People of 2020.



Michael B Jordan won over critics with his work in films like Fruitvale Station and Just Mercy. He became a global star with his performance in the 2018 MCU film Black Panther, where he played the antagonist Erik Killmonger.

Mumbai, September 9 - Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan's gangster action thriller They Call Him OG is one of the most-anticipated films. It is carrying excellent buzz among the fans, especially in Telugu states, where it is expected to open with massive numbers at the box office. While the film's box office potential is unquestionable in the Telugu market, it was widely anticipated to be Pawan Kalyan's breakthrough film in the Hindi market, given the decent buzz surrounding it. The presence of Emraan Hashmi was an advantage, as trade experts had hoped the film would open new doors for the star in the North belt. However, the latest reports suggest that the Hindi release plans have taken a massive setback. While They Call Him OG is expected to score big numbers in its home markets, the Hindi release setback will significantly restrict its pan-India potential, which is particularly a disappointing outcome for the fans of Emraan Hashmi, who has a fan following among the youth. Mumbai, July 23 - Director James Cameron's sci-fi adventure Avatar: Fire and Ash is still a few months away from hitting the big screen, but the craze for the movie is already at an all-time high among Indian cine lovers. ## Starring Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldaña in the leading roles, Avatar: Fire and Ash is the third instalment in this mega blockbuster franchise. The last blockbuster was a huge success at the Indian box office, with a nearly 500 crore gross collection in 2022. ## Avatar: Fire and Ash (Avatar 3) Hits 1 Million Interest on Book My Show ## Avatar is one of the most loved film franchises in India, and the upcoming film will prove it once again. It means this many people are already interested in watching Avatar - Fire and Ash. ## There haven't been many films which got 1 million interest on this online ticketing platform, and Avatar 3 is probably the first movie to hit 1 million interest on the platform five months before the release date. Earlier, films like Salaar, Pushpa 2, Kalki 2898 AD, Baahubali 2, Leo, KGF 2, Vikram, Adipurush, RRR, and a few others managed to mark 1 million interest on BMS. ## About Avatar: Fire and Ash Plot, Cast, and Release Date ## Directed by James Cameron and backed by 20th Century Studios, the film is the sequel to Avatar: The Way of Water (2022) and the third instalment in the Avatar film series. Apart from the returning cast of Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldaña, Stephen Lang, Sigourney Weaver, and Joel David Moore, among others, the movie will feature David Thewlis and Oona Chaplin, portraying new characters. ## Oona Chaplin will portray Varang, the Na'vi leader of a volcano-dwelling "Ash People" clan. Director James Cameron said of Varang that "Varang is the leader of a people who have gone through an incredible hardship. She's hardened by that. She will do anything for them, even things that we would consider to be evil." The film will also see the return of Payakan, the Tulkun who befriends Lo'ak. ## Avatar: Fire and Ash is scheduled to release on December 19, 2025. Los Angeles, July 21 - The Hollywood film industry is currently riding high on back-to-back box office successes, with recent titles like F1, Jurassic World Rebirth, and Superman drawing in huge crowds. The upcoming lineup through the year is looking promising, with several titles expected to score big numbers. ## The spotlight shifts to Marvel Studios’ much-anticipated release, Fantastic Four: First Steps — the second reboot of the iconic superhero franchise, which is generating solid buzz ahead of its theatrical debut. According to a report by Deadline, pre-sales for First Steps are already tracking ahead of Marvel's own Thunderbolts and Captain America: Brave New World, setting the stage for a promising domestic opening. ## Disney is reportedly projecting a conservative $100 million to $110 million debut weekend in North America. However, independent box office trackers are far more optimistic, estimating an opening between $125 million and $145 million. The higher projection, however, might not (or may be) turn into reality as pre-sales are reportedly around 20% behind DC's Superman, which recently debuted with $123 million. But if the reviews are positive, the higher opening is very much expected. ## The Fantastic Four franchise has historically seen lukewarm openings. The last instalment, 2015's Fantastic Four, opened with just $25 million domestically, and the highest opener in the series remains 2007's Rise of the Silver Surfer, which collected $58 million, only marginally higher than the $56 million earned by the 2005 original. ## Still, with the Marvel Cinematic Universe's brand power and a fresh creative direction, Fantastic Four: First Steps is poised to breathe new life into the franchise and is set to deliver its biggest opening yet.
